Tomer Hadad founded Carolina Diamond Buyer (CDB) in 2022 in Charlotte, North Carolina, after a decade of experience working in the diamond industry in Antwerp, Belgium, the diamond capital of the world, and in his home country, Israel, the world’s largest exporter of polished diamonds.

He began his career in 2012, earning the prestigious GG (Graduate Gemologist) designation, where he learned scientific and technical aspects of identifying and grading diamonds. Tomer has examined and appraised hundreds of thousands of diamonds and colored gem stones through his work at the Israel Diamond Exchange, and the Diamond Exchange in Antwerp, Belgium.

A Graduate Gemologist is a person that completed a graduate program at a gemological institute. He or she is an expert on Diamonds and Gemstones. Tomer Hadad (the owner and founder of Carolina Diamond Buyer) is a certified Graduate Gemologist with over a decade of experience in the industry.

I have an appraisal on my jewelry, will you pay the appraisal value?

Appraisal value is mainly for insurance purposes and can be valued at up to three times higher than the fair market value we will give you the best offer.
